STARDYN LICENSE
Privacy Policy
Effective 27 July 2026
This policy describes how StarDyn, LLC ("StarDyn", "we") handles personal
data on the Stardyn License portal at license.stardyn.com — the service our
customers use to purchase, activate and manage licenses for StarDyn software products.
What we collect
- Account data — your name and email address, provided by you or by your
identity provider when you sign in with Google.
- Company and billing data — the company name, billing address and tax
number your company provides for invoicing.
- Commercial records — invoices, payments, subscriptions, licenses and
activation records (including the installation identifier a product presents when a license
is activated).
- Security data — the IP address and browser identification of sign-ins
and API requests, kept for abuse prevention and shown to you under “Signed-in devices”.
- Correspondence — transactional emails we send you (invoices, payment
confirmations, sign-in links) and messages you send us.
What we do not collect
- Card details never reach us. Card payments are processed by Stripe on
Stripe's own pages; we receive only the confirmation that an invoice was paid.
- No advertising or analytics tracking. The portal sets one strictly
necessary, httpOnly session cookie so you stay signed in — nothing else. We do not use
third-party analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking of any kind.
Why we process it
To operate your account and your company's licenses, to issue and collect invoices, to
deliver and verify license activations, to keep the service secure, and to meet bookkeeping
and tax obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We share data only with the processors needed to run the service:
- Stripe — card payment processing (name, email and invoice amount
accompany a payment).
- Mailtrap — delivery of transactional email.
- Hetzner — server hosting in the European Union (Germany), where the
portal and its database run.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google; we receive your
name and email address from your Google account and nothing more.
Retention
Account and license data is kept for as long as your company's account is active. Invoices
and payment records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law even after an
account closes. Session records can be ended by you at any time from the Account page.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Sign-in is by single-use email links or your identity
provider — the portal stores no passwords. Session tokens are stored hashed, and payment
secrets are never stored in the portal's database.
Your rights
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data by writing to
support@stardyn.com. We answer within 30 days.
Commercial documents we are legally required to keep (such as issued invoices) are excluded
from deletion until their retention period ends.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the new effective date here and
inform account holders by email before the change takes effect.
